Vehicle Detail

0 0 1 283 1619 Park Hill School District 13 3 1899 14.0 Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE For sale a 1990 Porsche 928 S4 with a 1994 LT1 Chevy Corvette V8 and Garrett turbo. I bought the car last year while visiting NY and drove it back to KC. My first thoughts were to paint over the flames and eliminate the hood scoop but I never got to that point. A lot of people think the flames give the car an interesting look but in all honesty, I do not like them and that’s why I put a nose bra. Since I got the car, I had the main seal and starter replaced, and did a valve adjustment. Engine runs strong, lots of torque. I am sorry I do not know the engine specs or the hp. There is absolutely no engine overheating. The engine bay from the pictures doesn’t look anything special but this is a solid engine/conversion. The transmission was rebuilt by the last owner, it shifts smoothly and there are no leaks. There is no A/C and the radio does not work. The electronic display on dash says there is a “malfunction with the differential” and “low tire pressure” but in reality there are no problems. The Hankook tires have less than 10k miles on them so there is plenty of thread left (Front 225/40/18, Back 285/30/18). The 997 turbo wheels give the car a nice modern appearance. The wheels are like new with no scratches. I am not sure if they are original Porsche wheels or aftermarket. The car sits in the garage and it is driven only once or twice a month around town. It is not used for any type of racing. There are no mechanical issues with this car. Cosmetically, it is in very good condition inside and out, considering the age. This is a 20+ years old car and it is being sold “as is” with not warranties said or implied. It is the buyer's responsibility for the shipment of the vehicle. A $500 non-refundable deposit within 24 hrs at the end of auction via PAYPAL only! The remaining balance is due within 72 hrs of close of auction via CASH or CASHIER’S CHECK only. The car will not be released until funds are cleared.
