Vehicle Detail
You are viewing a 1964 Chevrolet Malibu SS tribute Car. This vehicle has gone through a complete tear down and reassemble over the last two years and features a completely rebuilt drive train, Suspension system, and Interior. Its a solid South West vehicle and has no signs of any rust or cancer. Every part on this car is either new, or has properly been rebuilt and restored to its original condition. This car drives like a dream and looks just as good in person as it does in these pictures. The olive green paint job would be described as show quality. It was freshly painted by a well-respected paint shop here in Arizona (www.kandyshopcreations.com). The body is laser straight, and the paint does not show any flaws or signs damage of any kind. All the Stainless is *NEW . All the Emblems are *NEW. Front & Rear bumpers are *NEW. 4 brand *NEW tires. The front driver side fender is missing the "Fender Extension" which has been very hard for me to find (you can see in the pictures). This is because both front fenders are original "1964" and not oem reproduction. The black leather Interior is *NEW and in excellent condition as is the carpet and weather stripping. I just installed a *NEW billet steering wheel featuring the Chevy "SS" emblem. I also recently installed a *NEW B&M pro shifter for added performance, but i will include the original column shift assembly which is still in tact. The Motor is a freshly built 380 horse power 350- 4 bolt main with less than 900 miles on the entire vehicle since finished. The motor features upgrades such as a aftermarket street cam, Edelbrock manifold, Edelbrock 600 cfm Carburetor, Holly high volume fuel pump, Edelbrock high flow water pump, and Chapion 4 core aluminum radiator. All *NEW motor mounts, trans mount, bushings, Shocks, ball joints, and drive shaft (u joints included). The Exhaust features Hooker headers to 2 Chamber 40 series flow master exhaust out the back (The car sounds throaty and aggressive). The Turbo 350 Transmission is also new and features a B&M mild shift kit, and a 3000 stall converter (Car shifts smooth). The 10 bolt rear end is also newly rebuilt and features new rear drum brakes, new 355 gears, and aftermarket summit racing Axels. The front disc braking system works excellent, and the newly rebuilt suspension allows the car to ride down the road without the hassle of old squeaks or rattles (Drives like a new car). My goal was to keep the car looking original, but give it that sound of horse power we all love. All the electrical works including the blinkers, interior lights, aux gauges, gas gauge, and high beams. The Speedo cable does not read correctly and will need to be replaced. I have yet to hook up the CD player because i do not have any speakers installed.... I guess the sound of the motor was enough for me.... This Chevelle is near perfect and the only thing i can say that im not satisfied with is the interior paint which does have a few cosmetic flaws. I would still consider the interior paint to be a 7 out 10 on a scale of 10 (10 being show quality). Also- the driver side passenger window needs a little help to roll up and down (Not a big deal). Other than those couple of things this is one Bitchen ride and it was built right! I get compliments every time i pull up at car night. Get in this car and Drive it anywhere!! Interesting partial trade offers?? The reserve set low for a quick and easy sale so I encourage you to call or email with any questions you might have. My phone number is 480-290-1596. I do have the right to end this auction at any time. Good luck and happy bidding!
