It was originally intended as a lower cost, lightweight racer. It ended up being only slightly less expensive than the coupe although it includes more options and was the platform for the Z06 that was introduced in 2001. The FRC includes the Z51 handling package and the 6-speed manual transmission as standard equipment. An option is the Active Handling System (AHS) which monitors the car for slides and applies brakes on single wheels to keep the car straight. Competition mode is also included with the AHS option. This one includes Traction Control with Active Handling and 18” Chrome Z06 Wheels with New NITTO iNVO directional radials all around. Description and Comments 1999 Corvette Fixed Roof Coupe – FRC Nassau Blue with Black interior Z06 chrome wheels with ~114,000 miles. This car is beautiful inside and out. It has always been garaged kept and been serviced regularly. The car is all original except for the rims/tires, headers and exhausts, and it's been lowered on aftermarket bolts. It has an awesome stance with pristine paint. I'm sure I'm missing a lot so please come take a look at the car. You won't be dissapointed. Having owned, C2,C3,C4,C5, and now C6 Corvettes over the last 30 years, if you are a first time Corvette buyer, I can tell you this is a very nice one!!! CAUTION: This is not a radical HOT ROD car, it is fairly stock but with upgraded exhausts and a tune. It is EXTREMELY FAST but it is PERFORMANCE MODIFIED. A stock C5 is strong on its own with 345+ HP!!! It is not for someone who has no experience with a fast car, so please understand that! This is one serious ride, that you need to know and understand as in the wrong hands this car is EXTREMELY Dangerous and will get you hurt if you don’t know how to handle it!!! I can’t overemphasize this enough here, so don’t buy this for a 16-18 year old inexperienced driver! Description and Comments This car is very fast and sporty. Absolutely everything works on the car! Condition The car has been meticulously maintained and driven, but it does have a 1-2 minor scratches, but I do mean minor. The low front spoiler will drag if you are not careful as it sits so low. Overall the paint is very, very nice but it does have ~114k miles on it so it has been driven(as a Corvette should be!!!). The underside is extremely clean! Look at my feedback, whenever I sell something on Ebay I try to be as detailed as I can giving you a factual description to the best of my knowledge.
