Vehicle Detail
Honda Dream 50r ( CB50R ) Hey bike collectors, I've decided to sell my Honda Dream 50r. I've moved to a small home and I no longer have the space to display the bike. The CB50R is a short-run 2004 HRC replica of the famous Honda CB110 racing bike. Honda only made 1000 Dream's and only 400 were ever shipped to the United States. This is a very rare bike that's in extremely good shape. The bike has never seen a track but I have started it a total of 4 times. Each time I drove it to the end of my block and back (a few hundred feet). Other than that the bike is brand new and has always been stored in the house until recently. Now it's in the garage and it's a sad sight to see such a piece of artwork not on display. This bike would make a great addition to any collectors space or a fabulous piece of art to any fancy office or lobby. If you'd like me to start the bike please let me know ahead of time so I can get some fuel to throw in the tank. I have a brand new California title and for some reason they assigned a plate number so it's possible somebody could get this registered on the street with mods. Engine Comes equipped with the Dream 50 engine assembled with camshafts, valve springs, piston, designed exclusively for the Dream 50 race kits, and low-friction cam chains, crankshaft, and light-weight AC generator which are newly designed for the Dream 50R. The carburetor and air funnels are designed exclusively for competition use, all of which contribute to developing 51.4kw (7ps) at 13500rpm. The transmission comes equipped with 6-speed close-ratio gears. Frame Aluminum front and rear fenders and a dedicated aluminum oil catch tank. Race use tachometer (full scale 18000 rpm) and tachometer stays are mounted directly to the frame, improving meter conspicuity. Equipped with a numberplate. The front and rear suspension is fitted with pre-load adjusters to ensure controllability. The front suspension now has no speed meter gear box inside. Instead it is equipped with side collar for weight reduction. Swing arm is fitted with chain guides which meet the regulations. The exhaust system has a single pipe, instead of former double wall pipes to enhance exhaust efficiency. Tires are Bridgestone BT39SS for front and rear, providing high road holding performance. Notes You can see in the pictures that the exhaust pipes have some minor scratching on the bottom from the bike stand. There is also a small scuff on the front aluminum fender circled in the photos and the worlds smallest ding in the tank that was very difficult to photograph but at certain angles you can see it. That said, it's in phenomenal condition for an 8 year old bike.
