2003 Infiniti FX45 w/ Technology Package - Engine Issues - Knocking Located in Kitchener (45 min from Toronto) Towing available for $200 to the GTA from my location UVIP (Used Vehicle Package) = No Liens Severe knocking is heard from the right upper valve cover / head. This engine starts, and blue smoke (burned oil) is seen coming out of the exhaust. Check engine light is on. Rebuilt. The engine may be able to be rebuilt by replacing the head I was told. The engine has not been opened up so the exact scope of the work is undetermined. It could be a simple repair for the mechanically inclined. The 4.5L parts may be sourced from the M45 / Q45, a 3.5L from the FX35 / G35 may be an option or even the 5.6L from the Titan. The vehicle is complete and in great condition. All options work, and this FX45 has the $8000 technology package which includes navigation, dvd with rear flip down LCD, rear back up camera and adaptive cruise control. The vehicle also has HIDs, fog lights, power heated leather drivers and passenger seats (no rips / no tears), power telescopic steering wheel, remote keyless entry, no key start (keep the key fob in your pocket) and many more options. It is in very clean condition inside out with no major damage inside or out, all panels are minimum 9.5/10 condition on average. Its a 9 year old vehicle and you cannot tell. 20" OEM rims with 80-85% Falken Ziex ST04 Cross drilled rotors with new pads on all 4 corners Front wheel bearings replaced and some other bushings etc...
