As seen in the pictures this nice looking 1999 Mercedes SLK230 power Hardtop Convertible has sustained front damage. This vehicle was directly purchased from insurance auctions for resale. No middle man involved. The good news is that the car starts, engine runs excellent, and we were able to drive it within our lot. All airbags are good. Pictures clearly show the damaged areas. Also, looks like something fell on the top right corner. Windshield is smashed but frame around the glass is good as seen in the photos. We have the broken windshield covered by collision cover. The dent on the roof should be fixable and it does not affect the opening/closing of the convertible top. Other areas of the car in great condition with clean interior. Engine runs great and sounds great. No suspension damage observed. Overall exterior looks great and paint shines excellent. Interior is in excellent condition with no rips/stains on leather and all electronics in working order. Power convertible top opens/closes with the push of a button. Again, the car starts, engine runs great, all airbags in tact!!! and we're able to drive it around within our lot. As seen in the pictures this nice looking 1999 Mercedes SLK230 power Hardtop Convertible has sustained light front damage. This vehicle was directly purchased from insurance auctions for resale. No middle man involved. The good news is that the car starts, engine runs excellent, and we were able to drive it within our lot. All airbags are good. Pictures clearly show the right side damage. Looks like something fell on the top right corner. Windshield is smashed but frame around the glass is good as seen in the photos. The dent on the roof should be fixable and it does not affect the opening/closing of the convertible top. Other areas of the car in great condition with clean interior. Engine runs great and no major warning lights on the dash. No suspension damage observed. Overall exterior looks great and paint shines excellent. Interior is in excellent condition with no rips/stains on leather and all electronics in working order. Power convertible top opens/closes with the push of a button. Again, the car starts, engine runs great, all airbags in tact!!! and we're able to drive it around within our lot. Many used parts can be found for this car at online junk yard database car-part or here on ebay. car-part is a source of used oem parts from many junk yards across the country. A SMALL NOTE ON SALVAGE VEHICLES
We specifically deal with light damaged or theft recovered salvage rebuildable vehicles. This vehicle was picked up from an insurance auction for resale. We directly purchase from insurance auctions and no middle man involved. Insurance companies usually salvage vehicles due to collision, theft, flood..etc. but this doesn't mean that they are beyond repair. In most cases its not the actual damage to the car that causes a vehicle to be salvaged but the circumstances under which they are declared salvage. For example, theft recovered vehicles are always salvaged since they are usually recovered after the owner is paid off by the insurance company. Or the owner might not want the vehicle after going through an accident even if the damages are light and easily repairable such as our cars. Whatever the case is these cars can easily be returned to the streets and that is why they're sold through auctions as repairable vehicles.
We have the salvage certificate of title (no-liens) in our possession and it will be re-assigned to the new owner to follow up with their state salvage process. Every state has its own salvage process and its usually filling out some forms and taking the car to an inspection after repairs (if any repairs are needed).
