NO GIMMICKS! 1997 Ford F-350 XLT 4X4 5-Speed Manual Crew Cab 7.3 Liter Turbo Diesel… 8’ Long Bed 174,000 Actual Miles Dana and Spicer front and rear. We all know these trucks are a dying breed guys. This one is very nice and very straight. This truck has spent the majority of its life in the bone-dry State of California and the body panels don’t have a speck of rust in them. It runs like it is brand new. Actually, better than new since it has some expensive tasteful BANKS aftermarket parts on it that all factory diesels should have. No dumb tuners, chips, or computer upgrades. Just more breathing components including full exhaust from the turbo back. The injectors and the pump have never been touched. Everything is very tight and handles like it should. This thing has the VERY rare bullet proof 5-Speed Manual transmission with a heavy duty clutch in it. The bed has been sprayed and has never been drilled for a 5th wheel or a gooseneck. This truck has never pulled anything. Yes it has the 4:10 Gear Ratio! It has the sought after MANUAL lock-out Warn Hubs. The pictures tell the story. There are obviously the normal scratches and dings but nothing even close to major. It was garaged and or under a carport. If you want more pictures send me your email address. The two passenger doors took the brunt of the sun over the years and are kind of fading. (see pic) There is a scratch in the passenger front fender. (see pic) The rear bumper is not the best and has a dent in it. (see pic) The interior doesn’t have carpet so there are no stains! Factory vinyl floors that you can just wash out. It has Cruise, A/C, Power Windows/Locks/Driver Seat, and a fold down center console. The dash doesn’t have any cracks and there’s an aftermarket remote controlled stereo deck unit. It has the aftermarket BANKS Pillar Mounted Gauges. It has new tires on it and comes with the obvious Leer Legend Canopy/Topper to keep your stuff dry and out of the elements. I just had a complete once over inspection done by a very good diesel mechanic at a reputable shop. You can call him if you want to. This truck is literally just getting started guys and runs just like it should! I believe in Karma and Honesty and have tried to display this vehicle the best I can through quality pictures and a detailed description. That being said, this truck is not show room new! $50,000 buys a brand spanking new one that isn’t half the truck as these were. As you can tell, it's not that severe. The actual blue paint isn't really fading or isn't a different color. I guess I would say that the clear coat is breaking down a little. It was hard to get the picture to show it. When not driven, it was parked under a covered car port for years and that small portion of the truck was getting hit by the sun in the morning.
