Up for sale is a very nice 1973 Mercury Cougar XR-7 convertable. This car has new paint and interior in a very nice color combination, The 351-Cleveland engine runs smooth and strong. It does not smoke or leak any fluids. It starts right up everytime and drives as nice as it looks. The C-6 transmissions shifts smoothly as expected. There is a new exhaust and the tires are at about 80%. The brakes work great as does all other components. This is an A/C car but the compressor has been removed, however the condenser and all other parts are there. This car has had some rust repair done at the lower portion of the passenger side door and the fenders. It was repaired professionally and looks very nice. It has a beautiful blue metallic paint with leather looking white interior and new carpet. This car is a driver and will take you where ever you want to go. It is not currently registered as it has not been on the road for some time, but will not disappont the new owner. The power top works great and does not leak. It is sound but is older. There are some minor pitting in some of the chrome but not very noticable for daily driver use. Mechanically and cosmetically, this car is very nice, it is ready to go while you do the things you choose to restore it to it's original state if desired.
