Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 ONE OF A KIND 1977 CHEVY CHEYENNE 4 WHEEL DRIVE PICK UP TRUCK I can almost guarantee that there is not another Truck that is like this in existence today. This Truck was bought new at a Chevy Dealer and driven home. It then spent the rest of its life properly stored in a heated garage. It was covered up and never seen the light of day. The Truck has 14 MILES on it. This Truck is Like New. The original owner bought the Truck New and brought it home with the intentions of saving it for an investment. The Truck was properly stored away. Unfortunately he passed away last year. I went through the correct processes to get it running, it took very little to get it running. The Truck still has the Original Tires on it. They have some dry rot but have held air for over 3 months (one tire has gone flat). They will need replaced. Other than getting the Truck running I have not done much else. Everything should be gone over. It has been in storage for 35 years, I have found a couple minor things that will need looked at. Things like: gas gage not working, the ac not blowing cold( I am sure it just needs freon) There is no rust on the Truck. It shines like the day it came from the dealer. The Truck is a 3/4 Ton and it sits very high. This was the only year that Chevy Painted a Heavy Pin Stripe through the Chrome Accents to match the colors on the truck. This Truck never came with a spare tire, that was an option and the owner opted not to get one. It does have the Rack that holds the Spare Tire. This truck is 100% original. This vehicle is truly one of a kind and is worthy of being in a museum, it has been that well preserved. The only thing that I needed to do with the Truck was to have the gas tank sealed. There was some pin holes used to remove the gas for storage. It was sealed using “POR-15” Gas Tank Sealer. The Truck has the following options on it: - A/C - Automatic. - 4 Wheel Drive. - Tilt Steering Wheel. - Power Steering. - Power Brakes. - AM/FM Stereo. - Instrument Gauges. - Large Dual Side Mirrors. - Valor Interior. - Sliding Rear window. - 3/4 Ton. - 350 V8 Engine. All that I have really done is to get the truck running. I am sure that there will be minor things that are going to need attention. I hurt my back so that is why that I can’t do any more work to the truck. This is an excellent example of a 1977 Chevy Truck that is well worth putting some time into to get it like it was the day it was new. The Truck is located in Pittsburgh, Pa.
