1978 Volks Westy. Needs TLC. Bought in March and Need to sell so that I can afford to move to another state. Hate to see her go we had big plans!!! Runs and drives great. Needs body work has rust spots and a few holes in the roof where she sat up for years before it was brought back to life. The previous owner was restoring her and passed away. I was able to purchase this vehicle with all hopes in a full restoration. Well as we all know life doesn't follow your path you follow it. Will be very happy to provide a shipper that I used to get her to me. Very good and decent rate. I paid $900 to have her shipped to me from two states over. Had her within 48hrs. I hat to see her go, but am in hopes that someone buys her that knows what they are doing to get her back in full action. I have taken her camping several times. People just love her. She is not the pretiest thing you have seen as she did sit up for a long time. She has had all new gas lines, battery, brake lines, roters, greased all up, new carb, new starter, runs and drives fine. Clean MS title in hand. Will ship with van. You can come look at her anytime you would like I have nothing to hide. She will need a full paint job again after body work has been done. The interior is complete and original < hard to find that > the cavis up top is not ripped and is complete. Needs new seat covers, radio, etc... It is the deluxe model that came with the AC option. The AC panel is in the back and taken out. It does need a compressor for the AC. Not sure what else as I have not had time to break her down. Just been driving her around and camping. I am sure its less than 100,000. Engine has had a full rebuild to my knowledge. The paint is a little warn on it because the previous owner painted over some rust in spots and it is chipping away. The sliding door needs work as well , when it sat up the rust ate the guide rail away and it will not shut on its own you have to baby it closed.
