Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a one of a kind K/5 Blazer. This truck took me over a year to design and build and could not be replicated for less than $30,000. The truck has less than 20,000 miles since it was restored. This is the truck that Don Yenko "never built" but if he did it would be built like this. This Blazer has been featured on the TV show "Whats In The Garage" and the "Lokar Car Show Series" airing on Fox Sports Network, and won the title of "Best 4X4" by Super Chevy magazine at the 2012 Super Chevy Show in West Palm Beach Florida. The Blazer started as a clean unmolested truck that was disassembled and rebuilt using only the best parts, I will describe the modifications as follows: Body: Completely stripped, straightened and primed, painted 1969 Hugger orange, six stages of wet sanding and buffing done by Mike Phillips director of training at "Meguiars" wax and "Autogeek". Custom "Yenko K/5" stripe and emblem kit, steel "Goodmark" cowl induction hood, "Softopper" convertible top with zero leaks, new grill, headlight bezels, bumpers, mirrors, wheel wheel moldings, all glass replaced, power window motors, all weatherstripping felt and rubber, 1969 style tailgate pan with Chevrolet script, new lights, lenses and trim. Wheels & Tires: New 15X8 six lug Chevy Ralley wheels with trim rings and bow tie center caps, 35X12.50 BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A tires. (Note these are not shown in all photos) Interior: New black leather and vinyl front bucket seats and rear bench seat with orange Yenko "SYC" headrest embroidery, new dash, trim, door panels, carpet, console, "Grant" signature series steering wheel, A/C vents, custom rear side panels with diamond plate inserts, custom headliner with orange Chevy bow tie, interior of tailgate pan covered in black leather. "Sony Explod" CD player with ipod adapter and matched speakers. Drive-train: 350 V8 throttle body injected, rebuilt to stock specs for drivability and 700R4 automatic rebuilt with "Transgo" shift kit, NP241 transfer case rebuilt, new motor and transmission mounts, new custom CV drive shaft, new axles, "Warn" premium lockout hubs, "Eaton" positraction carriers with 3.73 gears, polished finned aluminum differential covers, new dual exhaust with chrome tips, complete new air conditioning system, new rotors, calipers and brake pads. Suspension: New "Rough Country" 4 inch suspension lift (no blocks) with "Off Road Designs" rear shackle flip, new "Rancho" XL-9000 seven way adjustable shocks with dual steering stabilizer, 3 inch body lift, new polyurethane bushings, 2 inch sway bar drop kit, "Borgeson" U-joint steering shaft with rag-joint eliminator kit, new steering gearbox. As you can see this truck has been built the correct way and can be driven with confidence anywhere. This is one of the cleanest K/5 Blazers on the East Coast and you can buy this truck for half of what it cost me to build. This truck gets more "THUMBS UP" than any hot rod I have ever owned and it is a blast to drive with the top down. If you have been looking for a fun, reliable, unique classic truck then here is your chance to own one, good luck bidding! I will not ship the vehicle it is pick-up only and payment must be cleared before title is transferred.
