This car is a 1 owner vehicle; It belongs to an elderly woman (she can no longer drive due to her condition) hence the low miles. I can Validate the fact it is an "old lady's" car since I have documents and a signed power of attorney contract from her family. She is not in a position to take care of business at this time. NOTE: This vehicle used until a few months ago. The owner’s family members contacted me to post it for sale here on eBay. The reason it is for sale is because the owner is not able to drive any longer due to age. It’s clean and ready to go. It’s also for sale locally. DESCRIPTION: Up for sale is this 1997 HONDA Prelude V-tec Coupe. This car is loaded with most of the available options excluding leather. It does however have power windows, sun/moon roof alloy wheels, power locks, power mirrors, CD player, and Manual shift auto trans. This Honda has been Very well maintained, most of the maintenance done on this car has been done at local shops, it mainly gets the usual oil changes nothing more. The car has now 68K miles, it’s very clean (cleanest I have personally seen for its age) inside and out. The timing belts and water pump were replaced last month (less than 1K miles ago); I have the receipts for that work. this Honda needs nothing, it runs and drives very well, it has NO RUST anywhere on the body, The interior is stain and rip free, non smoking car, the only seat with wear (if any) is the drivers' seat. The front and rear bumpers were painted and a dent was repaired on the front drivers fender due to a few scuffs that occurred due to parking and damages incurred due to incompetence. This car has been inspected by my mechanic and passed New York state inspections. The engine is strong, runs quiet, exhaust is quiet, transmission shifts excellent. The trunk has its jack and spare (never used) I am however missing owner’s manuals. There are a few minor scratches (pictured) and one ding on the car. All of the lights work 100% heat and A/C work flawlessly. The electronics and stereo system, the windows and sun roof all work 100%. This is a Honda, and is as close to new as it will get. It gets 35+ miles to the gallon, has good tires, new brakes in the front. The wheels have some curb rash (elderly woman, its expected). There are no noises no vibrations, no check engine light no issues. This Honda is very clean for its age and miles, the undercarriage is clean (see pics), It has some normal wear and tear, the seats in the rear look untouched. The engine transmission and drive train are all excellent, it has a new battery. It has no leaks, it does not consume any oils, and the engine compression is strong. UPDATE NOV 12 2012: Many individuals have asked me about Hurricane sandy, I live about 100 miles NORTH of Manhattan. The car was parked at my home and both the car and my home were UNAFFECTED by the storm. We only lost power for a short period of time, we did NOT get flooded. We simply had high winds and few trees which fell. The pictures of the Honda were all taken the day it was listed. If Anyone has any more questions call me for a quicker response.
