I am selling this fun and collectable 1971 VW Karmann Ghia Convertible for a good friend of mine. He is selling this car after many years of enjoyment to pay for some unforseen medical expenses. This car has been garage kept and well maintained. The car runs, drives, and handles great. The interior is in very good original condition. It has 93,000 original miles on it. The body on the car is very straight, the paint is about 20 years old, and still has a good appearance and nice shine. Overall, a great dependable driver with a nice appearance. The car needs a new convertible top which he never got around to doing because he only drove it on sunny days. The top frame as well as the rear window are included, only the cloth is not. The floors are basically solid, but as in most VW's there has been some patch work done over the years. The owner is selling this car without reserve as he feels this is the only fair way to sell a car at auction.
