Vehicle Detail

Hello and thanks for stopping to check out our 1950 Packard Super 8 Fastback! The car has the following options: 60,557 ACTUAL MILES Original 8-Cylinder Engine Column-Shift Manual Transmission Radio We purchased this car from a gentleman who bought it in California. He had it shipped, got ready to start the restoration project, and he fell ill and was no longer able to do the job. We bought it from his son to resell to someone who wants to restore it back to new. It is a rare model because of it being a fastback 2-door. We felt the clutch, but were not able to start it as we do not have keys for it, but they could be in the trunk with all of the other parts. We did not go through them. Every piece for this car, plus extra parts, are all in the trunk. The car was partially disassembled and we put some of them back to take the pictures. The body and frame seem to be in great shape for 63 years old. Please bear in mind that you’ll purchasing this car as a potential restoration project or parts car. It seems to be all there to complete what needs to be done. It will need a rear window. It was there but was accidentally broken. We took as many pictures as possible so you can see exactly what you’ll be bidding on. There are some here and all of them, plus more, can also be viewed at this link: www.photobucket.com/oldpackard This is an as-is vehicle, which means that once you buy it, you own it with all faults (known or unknown). This is a no-reserve auction, which means that the last highest bidder when the auction is over will win the car. Every time you bid on the car keep in mind that you have an opportunity to be the owner, so your bid means something. We encourage all bidders to stop out, personally examine the car and drive it for themselves. If you can’t personally make it out to check out this vehicle, simply find a local mechanic to look at the vehicle and give you a personal report on the condition. We need the car paid for within 3 days, either by cash or wire transfer, after the auction is over. We would like the car picked up from our lot within 7 days of auction ending. There will be a $100 paperwork fee added on to the final sale price of the vehicle. If you need a 30 Day Tag it’s $18.50. If we need to transfer your title (and not hand you your title) we will also have to collect the tax in your county if you live in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Florida, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, South Carolina or Washington. We will not pay any shipping fees, but we would be glad to assist your shipper in picking up your vehicle. If you have any questions, call Stan at 216-598-7011. Good luck bidding!
