Up for bid is a 1965 Lincoln Continental Lehmann Peterson Limo. The 1965 model year was the first year that Lehmann Peterson stretched out a car to be a stretched limo. I believe they built 20 that year and I think 9 are known to exist. COMES WITH PARTS CAR!!!Both are CA cars to the best of my knowledge, I lost the black plates for the parts car because I bought it from a wrecking yard and they had keep them. Limo - Needs a lot of work, I got it running about or 8 years ago, I cant remember if I got around to the brakes or not, but the tank was cleaned, carb rebuilt etc. There is a noise from a carrier bearing or something on the drive line so I stopped there, otherwise I was planning to drive it just like it is (plus the trunk lid rear bumper and tail lights off the parts car) Lots of bondo, but all visible. Little to no rust, floors are real solid to the best of what I Could see. Something that makes this Limo unique is the fact that most likely it was privately owned when new because most limos had no options to speak of for the driver. This one has speed control, auto headlight dimmer and it "had" tilt wheel but the column is not right. I can not swear to what is or isn't accounted for on the limo only stuff, never dug into it that far. There are some extra parts as seen in the photos. I never got a title to the limo, if you want one for it I should be able to get it in about 2 weeks, and it will cost about $40. If you are good with that, let me know.THis car now has a 462 in stead of the correct 430. That also means it should have a C6 trans as the bolt pattern is different from what I have been told for the bell housing and it is more of what a 460 trans bell housing would be. Parts car... I think this one is a really low mileage car. I bought it 15 years ago from a wrecking yard. At that time the original vinyl top was still in nice shape. Odometer shows 69,251 and I think it is original. The front seat is a little hard and has some cracking, the back seat is very soft, though it had a few things sitting on it long enough that it has some sunken spots but they may come out as I just pulled the stuff off the seats that I was storing in there. Has a little rust here and there, but mostly clean and straight on the parts car, all the door panels are nice, all glass is good in this car. I may have a little more trouble with title on this car and it may come through as salvaged. I can get title though if needed, let me know.
