Up for sale is my wife's 1999 e46 328i finished in silver metallic with a black interior. This BMW is powered by the famous M52 straight 6 mated to a 5 speed manual with LSD rear-end, along with sports suspension, 17" BMW sport wheels on new performance tires and a sports interior. This has been my wife's daily driver since 2009 when she got tired of dealing with Audi USA on her leased A4. Overall, this has been an excellent car which has proven beyond reliable, and yet gave her the 'fun' factor which she loved in her A4 Quattro. The primary reason we are selling the car is due to me taking up a new job which no longer requires me to drive as I now take the LADOT commuter express bus into D.T. LA, and hence need my wife to rotate between my personal fleet (1988 e28 535is, 1986 300sdl, 1980 euro 300d, and 1979 300cd), which she's graciously agreed to do. Prior to our ownership, this car already had an extensive and well documented service history. And since our ownership, we have continued the timely maintenance schedule, along with addressing other critical areas of service to ensure this car is always performing as it should. However, since my wife uses the A/C (which works), this has not been a pressing issue. - Front passenger window works; however, regulator is screeching and will likely need to be replaced soon. - Driver seat back shows wear. - Head liner on rear pillars has some sag. - Roof antenna was stolen (screw on). - Usual parking lot dings/scratches. Overall, this is a nice car with a good/thorough service history that is ready to serve its new owner for many years to come!
