Here's my story. I live in Kentucky, but I bought this car in Atlanta Georgia and drove it for some 6 weeks. I drove to Denver for a conference in September and the first night in town, someone STOLE my car!!! I flew home a few days later and the car was found after I got home. The thief had made a few "additions, modifications and a subtraction" or two. I had it towed to a friend's house up in Brighton, just north east of Denver. It is in his yard and the pics of the car are the ones he took. I am back in KY now and to ship it home is just too much $. I purchased another Insight and am selling this one from where it sits in Colorado. I will tell you everything you need to know and will include my phn nmbr if you want to call. Murray 270 872 7507. Car was getting about 63 mpg per tank. 69.5 was the lifetime mpg.Odometer was 262000 +/-Battery was weak and I was using a shut off switch when driving in town, but would recharge on highway. It was the ORIGINAL batteryTires were near new and were the special RE tires by Pirenza (sp?) I had the windows tinted professionallyBrakes were good, everything worked like it should, no IMA light, no "Maint Req'd" light or engine lights were onPower windows, power door locks and power mirrors all worked well. Car drove straight and true. No squeals, squeaks, etc.Thief removed rear fender skirts and broke out drivers side windowWindshield is spidered in a few places. I can only HOPE he cracked his head wide open when he dinged up the front corner!Hood is crunched a little, front bumper cover cracked, headlight out, fender broken, does not appear to have structural damageAir Bags ARE NOT BLOWN!!! (See Pics)I sent the key and fob to see if it would start. (Didn't...low gas light on) Batteries most likely drained after sitting for so long This car would be worth rebuilding if you had spare Insights laying around.
