I am listing this 1987 Thunderbird Turbo Intercooler with about 122,000 miles for a very good friend of my neighbor - they have known each other for over 30 years now. He's the original owner and is selling because he does not use it as much as he used to. He's also selling another two vehicles from his collection. One is a 1936 Ford Pickup Replica, and the other one is a 1947 Ford Super Deluxe. You can see these via my other listings. As stated, he's the original owner and has taken good care of this Thunderbird. Garaged kept for many years, and everything just about works including cold A/C. I took the car out for a ride and it runs well, except that the turbo does not kick in at 100%. He told me that the Turbo was rebuilt less than two years ago costing a little over $900, but I think that all it needs is some adjusting. I personally think that the Turbo itself is fine, but again, it needs to be looked by someone that understand these motors. I used to own a 1986 Mustang SVO a while back, and I know how these engines run for this Thunderbird has the same engine! Then again, it has been used very little lately for maybe what it really needs is a good run! Also, the fuel tank is new, and never outside of Florida!
