Note..this is a race car and there is NO tiltle for race cars, but correct papers for export will be provided As always, I will consider any reasonable offer to end early car is for sale at shop, and listing may end at any time, Nostalgia Vintage Drag Car thru' the 70's 80's this car has 19 year history on NY area dragstrips... running mid- 9's in the quarter mile Now just arrived in Alabama , " Nasty Nick " is a great 'Cuda 440 ROLLER with LOT's of Nostalgia, that should return to the track after restoration. Nick had this to say about the car .... "I owned, built and drove this car for 19 years . I took my car through many evolutions, many of them experimental. An easy way to see the last version is the hood scoop. A small snorkle scoop was used for a couple of years. With the huge torque of the engine, traction became a problem at some of the non-NHRA tracks. Soooo.....I moved the engine back ten inches. This required a snorkle scoop that went right up to the windshield. Hence you can tell the difference. The car started with a plain jane 440 and got into the 10's after putting it on a diet. After several years I moved the motor back 10 inches. You can tell from the new longer snorkle scoop. A new radical short block (ONLY) put the car into the 9's. It ran a 9.59 ONCE. It would run 9.70's at any NE track (Englishtown, ATCO, Maple Grove, York PA, etc.), depending on the weather. Super Sweet Ride!
