Beautiful one owner, factory maintained BMW R100s Airhead Motorcycle. This is all original. -Please don't ask if I have a "Buy it Now" price. If you want me to consider adding a Buy it Now, please make a firm offer. -Year: 1978 -Miles: 17000 -Color: Red Fade Original Paint -2 Cylinder Boxer, 4 Stroke -1 Owner local San Diegan -Includes original under seat tool box with tools, air pump and lock. -Missing side covers. - This motorcycle runs well and is in excellent condition for the year. New factory battery. Starts easy and idles nicely. I have riden it for 10-15 miles and it's a great runner. Nice unmolested version of a cafe classic. I like the S cafe style fairing and they seem to run around $300 on Ebay. The only issue with the bike is some oil seepage at the push rod tubes where they meet the block. Local BMW motorcycle specialist quoted $450 total do a top end reseal on both sides. Factory quoted $700. I don't want to have it done because the buyer may have other plans but I can have it done if the buyer wants. There is some scratches on the gas tank, but the paint is all original. There is some paint loss on the frame where the fairing and case saver mounts were. I don't want to touch it up so it doesn't look like I am hiding anything. I did put new factory tank emblems on it Includes: Original Luftmeister Fairing and Hard Bags. I took the Fairing off because I like the look better but it comes with the bike as do case savers and original hard bags Can be seen in San Diego Area. Local Pick-up or buyer to arrange shipping.
