I am selling my Pontiac Firebird 3.8 V6 2001 with 148.000 miles. I bought it in 2009 and I still use it sometimes as my daily driver. I had a lots of fun with it, and it's a great car.Fun to drive, pretty roomy for a sportscar/coupe, it gets a good mileage for its 205 horse power. You can even drive around with your friends or family (it's a 4 seater). The trunk is also pretty roomy for this type of car and allows you to go on weekends with some lugguages.The engine is powerful, sounds great and is not noisy. Overall it's a comfortable car with a sporty feeling. The good: - Bodywork in a good shape and clean.- Interior in a good shape- Has the very rare T-Top- Stock full options vehicle with electric leather bucket seats.- A/C works fine.- Electric everything works fine (except the radio screen that needs a bulb replacement).- It's a California car meaning no rust.- Clean Title The bad: - Check engine light is ON (code P0420) so the Cat converter needs to be replaced. (failed California Smog test)- Sometimes the idle is not perfectly stable and the engine stalls.- The driver seat needs a leather replacement (it has hole on it).- Needs four new tires and new rear rotors (the front are still ok).- The turn signal relay needs to be replaced. Many parts were replaced in the 2 past years like:- new radiator- new EGR valve- new water pump and belts- new oxygen sensors (x3) However since the car needs a catalytic converter replacement to clear the check engine light (mandatory in California), it is NOT FOR SALE IN CALIFORNIA (or as a PNO only). Any other state buyer is welcome. Buyer will arrange towing. It's a very good deal for the price for the one who will fix the few things that needs to be fixed.Questions are welcome.
