Vehicle Detail
This Cobalt is a beautiful little vehicle. I purchased it to replace my present car as an every day vehicle. The car is a salvage, flood vehicle. There is no body damage, the engine has started and will start after replacement of theft-deterrent module. The engine compression has been checked and is good. Fuses have been replaced as well as the battery and the BCM has been replaced and flashed. Doors and electrics have been taken apart and dried in drying room. The car needs replacement of the theft-deterrent module, the radio and the instrument cluster. The radio and instrument cluster are included and shown in the pictures. The theft-deterrent module (shown) is $129- at the local dealer, I have not found one otherwise on the internet, you may find one cheaper. Tires have good tread, car has no odor, even after sitting in summer heat with windows closed. I am selling the vehicle for one reason only - I need money in a hurry for over 6 grand in dental bills :( Every family should have a dentist and mechanic in it! Anyway, I bought this to fix and replace my old car but am selling both. I could put another $500 into the car to get it road-worthy and registered but I would still have to sell it. So you have an opportunity to have a $12,000 car for less than half that price. Remember, this is a salvage vehicle and the reason it will go cheaply. But you still have an opportunity to get a $12,000 equivalent for less than half the price. If you do not trust your mechanic or do not want to go through the process of re-titling and registering in your state, you should probably not bid. NO IDIOTS MAY BID. If you do not intend to purchase the vehicle, stay off this site. A bid is a contract, those bidding on this site as a lark, grow up.mature. If you accept the "Buy it Now" price, I will provide an incentive. I will refund the $500 additional I was going to put into the car towards any repairs you make. If you can do the work yourself or can put the car on the road cheaper than that, it's money in your pocket. If it costs you more, it helps defer that cost. Please note the instrument cluster and radio are in the dash but are the non-working units. I put them in for the pictures before I purchased the replacement items so you can see the look of the dash. Thank you for looking and bidding.
