This is one of the nicest and cleanest 500SEC in America. A one owner car from 1985 to 2012 with European spec, which I believe has a higher compression ratio. The mileage is accurate! I bought to use as my daily driver, but I just got a promotion to re-locate to Australia for 5 years. We spent over $7,000 on the car after we picked it up from the original owner in Scottsdale, Arizona and drove it to Mercedes-Benz of Escondido in California. New brakes- Original Mercedes-Benz parts including new calipers, rotors, pads and even the hoses, new Master Cylinder, new power steering pump, new AC unit, new radiator, new fuel pump, on and on. We have all the records. Once I shipped it to New England I drove it approximately 4,000 miles from May of 2012 up until now.The color combination is perfect- Burgundy and Palomino. The paint is absolutely striking a true 9 out of 10. It was definitely repainted by a top notch shop. The leather was replaced about 5-7 years ago and the carpets are like new and original. There were several little dings on the car, so we hired Mr. Dent and spent several hundred dollars to remove them, which turned out fabulously! This car could be driven across country and back with no issues. It could be a daily driver for someone in a fair weather part of the country. I don't believe the car has seen a rain storm, never mind snow. It's incredibly rust free - ZERO rust anywhere, even the spare tire wheel well. Everything works down to the interior dome light and windshield wipers on the headlights, even the automatic seat belt returns. Always Garaged! We restored it to keep for 20 years, but things happen don't they- my loss could be your gain.Call us to discuss the car or if you have any questions.
