You are Looking at an custom 1957 MGA 2 door convertible. I purchased this car from a gentleman who had owned this vehicle for over 20 years. Unfortunately i do not have detailed information on the restoration that was done in early 2011 but i can tell you this car is a dream to drive, and i was told it was assembled by a reputable British performance car company in Southern California. The car is titled as a 1957 MG. The old owner referred to the car as an original 'Race Model' but i do not know how much legitimacy that carries. As you can see some of the characteristics of the popular Shelby Cobra are seen through this cars aggressive stance, Custom Lake Pipe exhaust, and after market v8 drive train. All other original parts are there, and the quality is seen by the condition of the car itself. It drives excellent, and its exceptionally fast. When i say fast>>>> I mean this thing eats cobras for breakfast! If thats any indication of the raw power this vehicle can deliver when driven correctly, or if preferred can just cruise down the highway with ease as this car is turn key and ready roll to your next weekend destination. The Motor/Drive train is mostly stock GM with few mild upgrades such as a Edelbrock street cam, Edelbrock performer manifold, Edelbrock 600 cfm carburetor, Custom headers, aluminum radiator, high flow water pump, Electric fan, mild shift kit, B&M quick silver sport shifter, and aftermarket gears and axles on the Ford 8" rear end. The interior is in great condition as is the weather stripping, suspension, breaking system, and Soft Convertible top. All gauges, lights, turn signals work as they should, and this car loves to be driven. With that being said, this car is a driver. Although is has placed top 3 in a number of car shows, this car does have normal ware & tare from occasional cruising and highway travel.
