This is a 1965 VW bus. It was part of an estate sale and there is not a lot to be known of how many previous owners there were or much history. There seemed like there was restoration process going on and then abandoned. The floor boards seemed solid without much rust. In fact much of the rust seems to be surface rust and hasn't eaten through any metal. There is no key and the back brakes seemed to be frozen. The engine is relatively new although it can't be verifyied as to when it was installed and how many miles it has on it. It hasn't been started in quite some time, but the engine looks relatively clean and in descent shape. Any smog issues will be your responsibility.
