Vehicle Detail

Up for grabs is the most meticulously maintained Porsche 924s you've ever seen. This was the last year of the Porsche 924s and featured 160bhp.It followed standards of previous year Leman's spec cars.Car would blow the doors off of the 944 as it has increased horsepower, better earodynamics and a much lighter weight. This beautiful and fun sports car actually gets 29 miles per gallon!!!It was green before green was the way to be!!! Always garage kept and never driven in inclement weather. This rare German sports car is nearly showroom condition Body and interior or both near perfect. Runs, sounds and handles like a Porsche should. 5 speed and ice cold air. Everything works as it should. Car is all orginal and only has 80,000 documented miles.Beautiful nearly flawless interior and paint.I feel that this rare find is close to Concours condition. The only flaw is extremely minor: center console cover isn't perfect.Clean Carfax in Hand...no accidents, odometer discrepencies or insurance claims!! Performance 0-60mph:7.9secs Top speed:136mph Power:160bhp Torque:155lb/ft MPG:29mpg Engine Configuration:in-line four Aspiration:normal Fuel:petrol Fuel delivery:electronic fuel injection Chassis Suspension Front: Independent, MacPherson struts, lower wishbone, coil spring, anti-roll bar Suspension Rear: Independent, semi-trailing arms, trailing arms, coil spring, anti-roll bar Drivetrain: front-engine RWD Steering: rack and pinion Bodyframe: metal monocoque Transmission: Five-speed manual Dimensions Length: 13' Wheelbase: 7'8" Width: 5'5" Height: 4' 7" Weight: 2500 lbs This car has been stored inside the garage of a vaction home and only driven while on vacation.Less than 800 miles in the past year and averaging 3300 miles per year since new!! Bartering may be a consideration.I will assist with shipping the vehicle at buyers expense and will deliver within 100 miles of Columbia with a "Buy It Now" purchaseI reserve the right to end the auction early as it is for sale locally as well. Email me or call for more details:scpilot172@msn.com803-600-1462Car is still located in Hilton Head but will be moving to Columbia,SC this weekend. I have a 100% positive feedback for a reason...100% honesty and full disclosure. Please due your due diligence and I welcome in person inspections prior to bidding. If you bid, I expect the bid is a comitment to purchase. Good luck and happy bidding! There will be no disappointments on this very rare and beautiful classic German sports car!! On Oct-19-12 at 20:54:20 PDT, seller added the following information: The car has now been relocated from Hilton head Island to Irmo, South Carolina and will be available to be inspected all day on Saturday October 20th. I have received multiple questions regarding the following: Interior: Carpet is extremely clean original -Door panles are perfect -Seats are excellent original - Dash- Perfect with no fading or Cracks Rust: Absolutely no signs of rust Paint: Excellent original(could use a nice wax job) Body: No evidence of any previous body work Tires: Excellent condition Wheels: Nearly perfect original with no curb rub Weather stripping and seals: Nearly perfect, not dry and are still very pliable Engine Bay: Very clean original with no obvious signs of leaks... I do hear a slight whine in the engine bay which I believe to be a pully, will investigate further tomorrow and update with our findings. Note: the small rubber gasket at the keyhole for the hatch is a bit dry and brittle. I have also noticed 2 extremely minor dings behind the passenger door. They are so small that I couldn't even get them to show up in pictures.
