1930 FORD MODEL A PICKUP - RUNS AND DRIVES!!! This Model A Pickup is about as solid as they come and would make a great Streetrod, Resto-Rod, Ratrod or a sound foundation for a complete restoration! It also has a clear title and is ready to go! ENGINE/TRANSMISSION/DRIVETRAIN: The engine turns over strong, fires right up, and runs well! The clutch seems solid and the transmission shifts well as the truck drives down the road. The radiator is in good condition and holds antifreeze with no visible leaks. The truck has been converted to a 12volt system, so an alternator can be seen in the pictures (PLEASE NOTE: The battery visible in the photos is to allow prospective buyers to hear the truck run and is NOT included in the sale). The brakes are solid and the truck stops as well as it hums down the road! SHEETMETAL: The sheet metal is extremely solid with minor dents and dings, but no rust through. The cab is solid at the corners, rockers, cowl, doors and floor. Front fenders, running boards and splash aprons are there and solid with no rust through, but will need some repair of dents, dings, and the typical stress cracks. The hood top is in solid condition, but both side curtains are missing. The grill shell is in good condition - in need of some TLC, but VERY REPAIRABLE! The radiator cap is a newer reproduction from Vintique Co. Headlight bar and headlight buckets are in great condition - not bent or beat up. Out the back, the box is in VERY SOLID CONDITION. The original wood is missing, of course, and the tailgate is missing, but the rest of the box is in VERY SOLID CONDITION - reproduced, these boxes go for nearly $1800.00 by themselves. The rear fenders are not original...and what they were originally from is for the proud new owner to decide! WHEELS AND TIRES: The truck has later-model 17inch V8 wheels on it and their original V8 hubcaps - hubcaps are a bit dinged up, but not bad. Tires are in good shape and hold air well. INTERIOR: The interior is pretty barebones. Door handles are there, but the window cranks are missing. The windshield and back glass are new, but the door glass is missing. It also has a new chrome manual windshield wiper. The dash/guage cluster is there, but missing one guage. Rearview mirror is there. The original seat and original door panels are missing. Again, this is a great starting point for your project...streetrod or restoration...as a ratrod, its done!! This is going to be a neat pickup when its all done!
