Up for sale is a 1964 impala coupe. The impala has a fresh restoration. Paint: The car is painted midnight blue and has a white top with pearl. The paint is really nice but not flawless. I think the paint is a 9 out of 10. The vehicle was sanded all the way down to the metal then painted. The car was painted at a local body shop and I think they did a good job. The car was also wet sanded and buffed to give it a nice shine. Interior: The interior is two tone gray and is also just redone. The seats, carpet, door panels, kick panels, ceiling, center console and the back dash were all re upholstered. The interior also has all new door and window handles, new ashtrays, new SS trim, new steering wheel trim. The Dash ss trim and glove box trim is also new. All mirrors are also new. The car has new Chevrolet floor mats. The trunk of the vehicle was also upholstered. Exterior: The bumpers were re chromed, they also have new bumper guards.The rear bumber has some light surface scratches that should be able to buff out. The grill was polished along with the outside trim. The ss side trim is brand new. The tail lights are new along with the tail light trim. The trunk and rear trim is also new but the center piece has a small ding on it. The trunk ss emblem and all the other emblems are also new. All glass is in good shape. The door glass trim and rear side glass trim could be re chromed. Sound system: The car has a old school looking chevy radio, but it’s a modern radio. The radio has a mp3 player hook up. The car has a antenna under the dash. The car has 5.5 250 watt pioneer speakers in the kick panels along with pioneer tweeters. In the rear dash it has 2 6x9 Pioneer speakers. In the trunk the car has 2 10 inch square kicker solo baric subwoofers. The system is powered by 2 Rockford fosgate amplifiers, 1 is a 1000 what and the other is a 600 what amp. They are the real nice old school ones. I wanted them to be displayed but they hid them on the side of the speaker boxes at the shop. This sound system is really loud! Suspension: The front suspension of the vehicle is new. It also has disk brakes in the front and drum in the back. The Front brakes are crossed drilled and slotted. The vehicle also has air bags so it rides really nice. The car has 5 switches which will allow you to move the car front, back, side to side and the fifth switch will raise it straight up or drop the car all the way to the floor. The Air bags have two 5 gallon chrome tanks in the trunk and two compressors. Air Bags were installed by Switch Happy and the parts come from HOPPOS in southern California. Engine: The engine is a 350 and the transmission is also a 350. Not sure how many miles are on the engine but it runs strong! The engine has humpback heads, a mild cam, aluminum intake and headers. The carburetor is a 750 edelbrock and is about 5 months old. The car has a electric gas pump, it has a new chrome alternator, new starter, two new batteries (they are both connected) The car has a new aluminum radiator and two electric fans. The car also has a new brake buster and master cylinder. The dual exhaust on the vehicle is also new with cherry bombs and chrome tips. The rear wire harness is new. The car has new spark plugs, new oil change, new spark plug wires, and it was recently aligned. The car also has a Chevrolet chrome dress up kit. This car was a AC car but currently has no AC or power steering. Wheels and tires: The car has new wheels and tires. I purchased them about 3 months ago. They are 18 inch chrome wheels. I keep the car garaged and don’t get to drive it much. The car has only been washed 2 times since it was painted; this car gets dusted and waxed every week. Other: This car runs really strong and is a fun car to drive. Keep in mind it is a old car and I can’t guarantee it will run this good for ever. I strongly encourage you come test drive it, take it to a mechanic, inspect it, or anything else you need to do before you purchase the vehicle. The car is being sold AS-IS with no warranty.
