Up for auction is my Wife's 2001 Ford Taurus LX with around 136,300 miles, this will change as it is currently being driven. - The vehicle does have a warranty that comes with the car for the transmission. The new owner will be responsible of making arrangements with the repair shop to have any work done if any at all is needed I will not be responsible for this. The work was performed by a highly respected transmission shop in Fort Wayne Indiana. I paid $1,261.25 for this. The warranty will last until 08-15-2013 or another 11,500 miles +-. I have all paper work in hand. The car shifts and runs beautifully. - Vehicle has been serviced every 3,000 miles and with semi synthetic oil. It has not been driven hard and is usually parked in our heated garage. Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 This car runs & drives good for 11 yrs old. -It is solid & tight, does not pull. I do notice some very slight shimmy in the steering wheel at speeds over 60mph, I believe that the tires I had put on cause this. Tires are about 60% tread left. When we got this car it did have a large scratch/small dent on the passengers side that I had a local body man repair and re paint.The repair does look good. There is a rip in the arm rest that you will see in the pictures and some hot chocolate stains on the seat belt's (expected with children) overall the inside is clean other then some small stains caused by children. The paint is shiny, looks good up close or from a distance. There are a few minor scratches & dings to be expected on a used car. One scratch on the drivers side is very thin but about 8'' long. I will be up front and let you know that I will have a reserve on this car for around $2,200-$2,500 due to the amount of money that was spent on the transmission, and how it has been maintained the car is clean and we have enjoyed it. This car will make someone a great car or a wonderful 1st car. The car is also being sold locally and will be sold as is with no warranty's other then stated by the transmission shop.
