This is a 1957 FORD THUNDERBIRD project car. This is a running, driving, shifting, stopping car. A restoration has been started but needs to be completed, It comes with a more modern 5.0 Ford engine and automatic transmission. It has a factory hard top and an aftermarket convertible top, both of which need restored. The car has power steering and the tires have less than 500 miles on them. As you can see in the pictures, the car has some rust through in some of the body panels. The good news is most of the sheet metal panels, about $1500 worth, and a new driver side door, about $500 worth, have already been purchased and come with the car. A new fuel tank and fuel lines, about $250 worth, have recently been installed. The brakes, shocks, and steering all have been recently installed or rebuilt, about $500 worth. Included with this sale is a good pair of fender skirts and the stainless stone guards and trim, about $400 worth. The car was an original power window car. I have the hardware for either power windows or hand crank windows so you can chose which you want. The glass is all OK except there is no back glass in the hard top. In the pictures you will notice there is no driver’s side door pillar, wing glass and door glass. These parts and others are all boxed up and come with the vehicle. If you want it I have the original Tbird automatic transmission but I do not have the original Yblock engine. There is a radio delete plate in the dash. I have a nonworking radio I will throw in if you want it. The clock and tach have been replaced with oil pressure and amp gauges. I have a clear Missouri title in hand. The replacement driver’s side door is probably as good a door as you will find anywhere, near perfect. Some of the bare metal patch panels have some light surface rust that can be easily sanded off. All of the bare metal patch panels were purchased from Concours Parts & accessories out of Carson City, Nevada. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th pictures of parts is everything I have for the left side/drivers side. They are the door, outside rocker, inside rocker, floor braces front- center- and rear, center floor section, inner wheelhouse top cap, outer lower quarter panel, inner wheelhouse lower front, inner wheelhouse extension, fender skirt, fender skirt molding & stone guard, and rear trunk floor brace end. The 5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th pictures of parts is everything I have for the right side/passenger side. Same as listed for the left side except no center floor section, no door, and no rear trunk floor brace end. The last 2 pictures of parts are of the driver’s door window assemblies, pillar post, misc parts, and I’m told the original power brake booster. Any and all questions will be answered. Thanks.
