Up for sale is this 1976 CB750 Honda. The bike has been completely taken apart for a 100% restoration. The frame has been powder coated along with all black parts. The paint was professionally painted by Mike Hogan in Southern California with all original decals then clear coated. The wheels were respoked & the hubs rebuilt along with new rims. Battery is a new maintenance free unit. The tires are new. The seat is a factory fresh, right out of a box new seat. All cables have been replaced. Although master cylinder has been rebuilt, it was polished to avoid the problems that come along with paint & brake fluid. The handlebars are new & the wiring harness is new. The front fender was replaced with a new NOS unit & the back fender is in near perfect condition. Everything works right. The petcock is new. I am a professional mechanic & have been in the industry over 40 years. I have worked as a mechanic & service manager at many dealers over the years, now retired I do only the CB750's for fun. I have built 100's of CB750 engines & I have gone through this engine top & bottom end. The cases were split & rods off the crank shaft. The transmission has been carefully inspected along with all cam chain tensioners & rollers replaced. The front cam chain guide is new. All bearings are in perfect condition. The cylinders wre checked for out of roundness & taper & the cylinders were honed & new rings installed. The head has been decarboned & all valves inspected & lapped in with new valve guide seals. All of the aluminum has been professionally polished. All gaskets & oil seals were replaced. The carburetors have been completely rebuilt with new carburetor kits installed. The engine has been serviced with carbs synchronized. New points & plugs & air filter is new. This motorcycle is ready for a trip coast to coast today!
