1951 Chevrolet Pickup 1951 Chevrolet Pickup rebuilt two years ago. Metallic black paint, painted inside as well. Has a 1954 rebuilt 235 engine, bored .060 over with .060 over shaved head. Motor is very strong. It uses no oil, it does however leak a little, I think most of them did. The old truck drives very well and will go all day long no problem. Everything works, gauges, heater, new electric wipers, I try not to drive it in the rain. Has a new speedometer with 6300 miles on it since rebuild. Has new oak cabinet lumber floor in it with five coats of polyurethane on both sides. New gray leather seat which was the original seat, I prefer leather to sit on. The paint is 95% good, I had a young man paint it base with three coats clear. You can find a few minor flaws if you want to pick it apart. Body was good when I bought the old truck all sheet metal is original. Replaced cab corners and the cowls on both sides. Replaced some of the floor with sheet metal.The motor a set of Fenton headers with 18 inch glasspack's that sound really great. All the glass is new. Good FM radio. Tires have 6000 miles on them, the old truck will cruise about 45 mph is where it likes to run. I've drove it 60-65 mph runs fine. Original closed drive and rear end. Original floor starter. The tailgate is original, you take a tailgate thats 61 years old and still good enough to on a slick truck that tells you the old truck is really sound. Original running boards, just had to repaint them. New chrome grille and bumpers. It's not perfect, but it is a really slick old ride. Turns heads, fun to drive, I just don't need two of them.
