Vehicle Detail

LOADED 390 V8, 2 BBl carb, 2.75 gears, Power steering, Power Disk Brakes, Power Windows, Power Seats, Power Door Locks, Convenience Console (RARE), Air Conditioning, 118K Miles, no rust whatsoever, starts right up, drives straight, strong and smooth down the road, sounds great, shifts smooth and proper, new tires (1000 miles), owned since 2004, new (re-cored correct) radiator, alternator, starter, solenoid, water pump, pertronix ignition, good brakes/shocks/suspension – no issues. All gauges / switches work as they should. The rear driver’s side power window switch works intermittently, but can be controlled from the convenience console in the front. May just need contacts cleaned. Very rare car. Originally had cruise control (module still under hood-see pics). Originally had AM/FM Radio but it’s long gone. Current AM radio is disconnected (it lights up when lights are on) and aftermarket CD player sounds great. It has Convenience Console option for power window/locks control. I’ve looked at a thousand galaxies online and never seen this before. Convertible with Air conditioning – it’s cold but could use a recharge. Restoration completed in 2001. Power top replaced and works well. Originally lime gold with parchment interior. Interior dyed black/painted. Any rust was cut out and replaced with new sheet metal. I believe the top end of the engine was rebuilt, but I have no documentation. I have a lot of parts including original air cleaner, carb, AC compressor, trim and misc other stuff. And they will go with the car. The bad: Leaks about a quart of oil every 2-3 months Passenger door tough to open from the outside – needs a new spring on the latch I believe, just open from the inside latch. May need a new neutral safety switch ($20) in steering column – sometimes need to wiggle shifter slightly to allow it to start. Never was a big issue for me worked every time. Rear seat ripped (bottom) and a little sun rotted (top). Will need replaced. Kit can be ordered from Dearborn Classics. Kids rode back there anyways was not a priority. A few rock chips and scraps. No dings. This price guide is pretty conservative also. I’ve been tracking these prices for years and they have always been on the low side. Honestly, this car is a solid 3. $6800 + $680 AC + 204 for power windows = $7684. Reserve is well below. I have a clean - clear OH title in my name for this car.
