Vehicle Detail

Vehicle Description: 1966 Lincoln Continental 4 dr Convertible: I am selling this Lincoln for NO RESERVE. Just came out of an estate. 2-owner car from new! **NOTE** ALL BIDDERS MUST HAVE POSITVE FEEDBACK AND BE FROM USA OR YOU NEED TO CONTACT ME FIRST BEFORE BIDDING. THANK YOU. CAR WILL SELL TO HIGH BIDDER SO I WANT ONLY SERIOUS BIDDERS INVOLVED WHO WANT TO OWN THE CAR. HIGH BIDDER TAKES IT. Please have financing in order before you bid. Thanks NOTE: I am currently accepting offers on the car so in the event I accept an offer, I reserve right to end auction early if car is no longer available. Do not wait to bid if you want it!! Email me! OK now for the car description... This car is LARGE and IN CHARGE! If you want to be noticed, then this is the car for you. Constant waves and thumbs up while driving. And just try to get gas without someone asking what year is that? etc. It is recently out of dry storage. Car is equipped with POWER Everything along w/ -Air Conditioning that WORKS GREAT!! Nice & COLD!! -Power Steering -Power Windows -Power Locks -Full Power Hydraulic trunk lid and top. Works Great! I am not an expert by any means but will do my best to describe this car and I will be happy to answer any questions. Just email them. I also encourage the prospective buyers to view the car first if possible? Or have someone look at it for you. This car has been very well taken care of since new and is indeed a survivor. Vehicle Condition: 78,114 ORIGINAL MILES! Interior: -Black Leather Interior (All Original Seats in car) -Seats and carpet are in good condition. Expect a blemish or two but overall very nice! -Only seat issue is drivers seat seam thread separated about 4 inches (see Photo) looks to be easy repair by sewing back together on seam with thread -Dashboard is in good condition with minor separation by speaker grill about 3 inches in length, otherwise very nice. -ALL WINDOWS WORK, as they should!! Even the back windows go down 4 inches automatically when door is opened to clear top and close when door is closed! This car also has factory AIR CONDITONING and it WORKS GREAT. Blows nice and cold!! Top: -Perhaps MOST IMPORTANT!! The TOP and DECK LID on this car work perfect from BOTH switches in-dash or out back by gas tank switch!! -Top canvas is in average condition. Top appears to be original. It does have 3 small tears that we are having sealed up this week. NOTE: If BUYER desires a New Top, we can have a Brand New Top Installed before car Ships at a cost of $975. INSTALLED. Otherwise top fits great and is fine the way it is. Really, is the top ever going to be up much anyway?? (See Photos of tops condition) -Complete Top Functions were gone over by Lincoln Mechanic and fully serviced the hydraulics/ relays. Complete deck raising and lowering, top up and down work great. (Quite a sight to see it in action!) Rear two corners of top up boot have some rust bubbles starting (about two inches). -Rear window glass is good Exterior: Car is painted a RARE E CODE Madison Gray Metallic. It is like a very pale metallic grayish/blue color in the sunlight. -Paint condition in my opinion would be driver+ quality. Expect a minor chips here and there that have mostly been touched up over the years, but over all Very nice and retains a nice shine. It was repainted roughly 10 years ago in the original color. We just had the exterior fully polished and it looks great and feels super smooth to the touch. -Bumpers are very nice. No rust and Chrome has no pitting and a Great Shine. A few dull spots here and there but nothing to worry about. Pass. Side rear quarter panel has some bubbles starting on very bottom. You need to be on your back to see it. Easy fix. Other than that minor spot, Entire Car appears to be RUST Free and still retains all the Original Factory undercoating underneath. -Car shows no signs or rust underneath or on body. (See photos) -TIRES are NEW My opinion is... this car is ready to be enjoyed as is and tinker as you go on the minor details. Current replaced Parts: -Fully Serviced Top Functions. Works Great -Brand new Fuel Pump -Brand new Ignition Coil -New Master Brake Cylinder -Brakes Fully gone over at time of Master Cyl replacement 6 months ago -Car starts right up, drives smooth, shifts smooth and power brakes work great. DRIVE this one ANYWHERE with Confidence TODAY!!! AGAIN... ALL Top HYDRAULICS AND DECK LID WORK PERFECTLY. NOTE: ENGINE Compartment PHOTOS and more Underneath PHOTOS will Be ADDED MONDAY EVENING Overall this car is in Great Condition and we did not note anything that it needs at this time other than minor exhaust leak in rear. Mechanically it is sound and ready to go. Please feel free to email with questions and to setup an inspection of the car. Car is being sold “As Is” with no warranty expressed or applied. And No Reserve. Check my feedback... I am not a dealer although I have sold a few cars in the past and everyone is always very satisfied as I do my best to accurately describe the car and sell it no reserve. Thanks again and GOOD LUCK Please keep in mind this car is being sold "as is". Do not assume anything and please feel free to ask questions you have about the car or come see it prior to auction end. I have listed all I know about it and have tried to be very detailed. Bid accordingly and to win. Car has CLEAR OHIO Title.
