The chassis number on the plate matches the chassis number stamped into the right front frame rail. Thanks. On Oct-10-12 at 10:03:22 PDT, seller added the following information: Please note: Two pictures have been added at the photo link showing GTC 991 with the Lancashire Police Department and a second scan of the Lancashire Police ledger showing GTC 991, TC1294 with date of purchase and engine number. They are the last two in the set. Also, in further organizing parts into boxes I've discovered that I no longer have the MG crested alloy spark plug holder, but do have an older plain alloy holder for four plugs. I also found that I actually do have the fuel pump, two in fact; the original one that came with the car and a second one that would only be considered parts. Neither is an original bronze base version, both are older but have steel bases. And, other work performed that I forgot to include: the re-bushing of the brake and clutch pedal and that were assembled with a new shaft, plus, he reworking of the handbrake assembly. Also worth mentioning that, the rear axle, which as I explained was assembled with new shafts hubs and bearings and seals, was, more to the point, correctly assembled per the factory instructions, and more descriptively per Mike Sherrell's excellent explanation in "TC's Forever" This was done using the Moss sourced, proper hub nut tool. Also, all four springs are new. I have two of the original springs.Thanks.
