A TITLE IS NOT REQUIRED IN RI IF THE CAR IS OLDER THAN 2001. BE SURE TO VERIFY IF YOUR STATE REQUIRES A TITLE FOR A VEHICLE THIS OLD. IF SO, DO NOT BID ON THIS VANAGON AS I DO NOT HAVE A TITLE. THANKS***************************On Oct-10-12 at 10:03:22 PDT, seller added the following information: *************IMPORTANT UPDATE, PLEASE READ: Since I won't be at the Vanagon at the time of payment and I am on the road travelling the winner will mail a check to my home so I can have someone cash it to make sure it clears. After the check clears the winner will be able to make arrangements to pick up the Vanagon. My mechanic is holding the VW Vanagon and knows we are traveling and selling it. He will be present when the winner of Vanagon comes to pick it up. He will have all of the necessary paper work to make the sale complete. Thanks, please email me if you have any question. *******************************************
