Up for sale is a 1951 Chevrolet truck that was a recent barn find. It is all original running and driving with a clean and clear Colorado Title. The truck has the original 235 engine and 4 speed manual transmission in it. The truck had sat for some time. After we purchased it from a friend we had the starter, carburetor, front brakes, and some suspension components rebuilt. From there the gas tank was cleaned with new lines and a filter and a new 6 volt battery installed. The truck fired right up and runs really smoothly. We have even driven the car to a few car shows around Denver. We put a different set of rims and tires on since the old ones where split rims with bad bias plys. The body of the truck is all original, the original paint (blue) is still under the brown and white primer, It even has the original wood and slats in the bed. We popped out a couple of dents. There is pretty minimal rust on the truck. A little in the cab corners and running boards. Nothing major though. If you are looking for a great start on a restoration, hot rod, or rat rod this is the place to start. There is no major damage to the truck and every body part is there and easily fixed. The windshield and wing windows are still intact however the side windows and rear window will need replaced/installed. These items are very cheap through lmc. Unfortunately we have to many cars in the family and this one must go to finish all the others. I'm setting the reserve pretty low. As usual I will request a deposit of 500$ within 48 hours while arrangements can be made for the completion of transaction and also arrangements for shipping or pickup. Even though this truck is running and driving I would definitely recommend having it transported or trailer or dollied.
