Ok, this is what you have been looking for... This is a 77 honda cb 550 four k. It is in pretty good shape for the year. There is a catch though. I bought this off of a friend of mine a year or so ago. He was riding it to work and was having some trouble with the carbs sticking. Well, the air box was getting gas in it. So, a backfire from one of the carbs ignited the gas in the air box. He was able to get off of the road and find some water on someones porch and put it out. The seat, air box, side panels, carbs, and all the wiring were burnt. He used my ebay account to purchase a complete wiring harness, and carbs. The side panels are still usable and the seat has been recovered... He worked on this bike a little and could not seem to get it going. Before the burn he had ridden it all over the place, including to work daily and some longer 30 mile trips to a neighboring city. He used insurance money that he received from the burn to buy another bike and had no need for this one. I bought it thinking that i would have time to get it going again but that hasn't happened. At the beginning of the year i had 10 bikes, i sold 3 and recently bought another. These bikes are in my grandpa's garage and "in the way" as he puts it. So, I need to get rid of all of them except one or two. I have a 71 honda 450, 81 goldwing 1100, 83 Kawasaki 454, 84 Honda 450e, 84 Honda Shadow 750, 84 Cb 500 fourcylinder, and a 09 er6n that need to go!!!... Most of these are project bikes but some of them are running and in decent shape. As for the Honda we are talking about here, i have not even hooked a battery up to it or turned a wrench on it... So, it may take a little tinkering but I know that the bike was running, i just haven't had time to get it running again.
