Hello Bidders! I planned on keeping my bike, but it’s time to sell. My current workload precludes me from getting any riding in, plus I’ll be traveling internationally over the next two years, so I hate to do it, but it’s most logical to sell now instead of letting the bike sit in a garage gathering dust. I set my reserve to $5500. I checked on Kelley Blue Book and the value of this bike is $7300, not including the upgrades, so you're getting this CBR 1000RR at a reasonable price. This CBR is in GREAT condition and garage kept. It has a Hot Bodies Racing undertail, matching rear tire hugger, and tinted windscreen. I also added the Jardine RT-5 carbon fiber exhaust, which adds great sound and weight reduction. I will also include the original exhaust (packed in Jardine box), a battery tender (plug and play installation under pillion seat), front and rear matching bike stands, Title, and a full tank of gas treated with STA-BIL Fuel Stabilizer. I am the original owner and do my best to pamper this bike. I purchased it in Jacksonville, NC in the summer of 2008 and do a majority of highway riding. I am a fair weather rider, so this bike rarely endures inclement weather other than a couple unexpected noon day showers that had me immediately return home. I've since put over 19,000 miles on the bike. It has a scuff on the right front fender from the moving company incorrectly strapping the bike down for cross country transport as well as a scratch on the tank (see pics). Communication and a $200 deposit are due within 24 hours of the end of the auction to cover EBay fees. The balance and pickup is due within 10 days, or else I must relist the bike. The winning bidder is responsible for pickup or shipping. I accept certified bank checks, money orders, and of course cash in person; if you need to use a personal check, all checks for that matter, it must clear before you can pick up the bike. PayPal is only accepted for the $200 deposit.
