1990 Honda CBR1000F with 38,125 miles in VERY, VERY NICE condition. This motorcycle has been very well taken care of. I am the 2nd owner. The first owner bought it new and was downright meticulous with his service schedule and record-keeping; I bought the CBR from him in c.2004 and have maintained it in the same manner. I bought the bike from him in stock condition and added some updates along the way (listed below). Bike has always been garaged and covered, responsibly adult-ridden, serviced properly. Never down or dropped or abused or raced. She is not show-room but she is in very, very good condition. A fantastic rider long-haul or twisty-short. Could be restored if that is your goal. My mechanic went over everything recently and he said this bike is mechanically "very, very clean." Details of what I had him service and inspect are below. MECHANICALS: Per my mechanic/Honda Trained technician, mechanically the CBR is "very, very clean, better than average for age. Obviously well maintained and taken care of." I had him go over literally everything recently and this is what we did:Changed oil and filterBled brake lines and replaced brake fluidCleaned and synched carbsReplaced fork fluid and sealsMounted fresh Bridgestone BattleAx front/back tiresInspected indicators, electrical, motor, clutch, cables, transmission, radiator fluids, rotors, brake pads, chain, sprockets: all in fine condition and functioning properlyReplaced battery, is always on Battery Tender in my garageShe starts up immediately, runs/idles smoothly, has very good power all through power band, throttle is smooth, engine very responsive and pulls strong.COSMETICS & AFTER-MARKET UPDATES: very clean, with few aberrations, better than normal for age. She is not show-room but she is in very, very good condition. Plastics are all in very good condition. No broken tabs, all fastened securely, no cracks. There is a scuff (1-2inch square?) near front left turn signal marker, barely noticeable and does not affect performance or lens seal. Also toe-scuff (1 inch square?) in front of gear shift lever.Lenses are all in good condition, no cracks or moisturePaint is still in very good condition (shiny, not dull, sparkles). Wheels are in very good condition, enamel looks very nice and bright whiteTank has very small ding on right side (at end of R in CBR label) from over-steer in garage from right bar-end weight (first owner). Really, really hard to see Scratches: front forks have a little pitting in the finish just from road sand, normal wear. No effect on performance. Few minor scratches here and there, very hard to notice-have to be up close and inspecting carefully.Some discoloring from aging of the shift lever, rear brake lever, foot pegs, and rotors. Only cosmetic, all function correctly and smoothly. Fading of stock left and right mirrors, some scuffing from moving about the garage (first owner), these function fine but could look a lot nicer. The OEM grey mirrors are no longer stocked for purchase anywhere for the 1990 model. I have purchased and not yet installed an after-market carbon-look pair that looks great with the carbon-look Corbin seat and smoke grey windscreen. Will include in the sale if not already mounted by then.Recently installed a brand new Zero Gravity Smoke Grey Windscreen.Recently installed new Bridgestone BattleAx sport touring tires.
