Vehicle Detail

This is an unmolested rust-free Fiero 2M4 SE, pampered by its original owner for 28 years. It has the desirable "racing stripe interior", factory sunroof, remote trunk release, working cruise control, and A/C that blows ice cold. Both retractable headlights work perfectly, as do all interior and exterior lights and signals. Car runs and drives beautifully, and the clutch and transaxle are smooth and quiet. Tires are newer Cooper CS-4's, and the 16" Pontiac rims are in near perfect condition. The few minor issues are as follows: 1. Engine starts fine, but cranks a little slow. The battery is brand new, so it may be time for new starter brushes. 2. The paint is amazing for its age, but several nicks have been touched up, and it could have been done better. 3. Interior upholstery is 99 on a scale of 100, but there is one tiny cigarette burn on the passenger seat cushion (it does not penetrate the fabric). 4. The headliner is slightly discolored near the sunroof. It's unclear whether water intruded when the sunroof was open, or if the seal has a small leak. Don't let its Midwest location scare you. The cradle and underbody of this car are as solid as the day they were new. It's been garage kept, and summer driven its entire life, and you would be hard pressed to find any car of this age in finer original condition. Especially a classic sports car that gets 35 mpg! This is a NO RESERVE auction. If you have questions, or would like to inspect the car, please contact me through eBay. Thank you for looking. On Oct-03-12 at 13:15:59 PDT, seller added the following information: Questions from Members: I've had a couple requests for pictures of the frame rails underneath the battery, and the trunk bottom. I hope the ones I've added are satisfactory. Obviously this car has none of the typical Fiero rust problems. Also, I've been asked about whether the car can be driven long distances. All I can say is I just drove it 200 miles on the expressway yesterday with no issues whatsoever. To the man in Colorado (and anyone else), I'd be glad to pick you up in the Fiero at any Chicago area airport or bus station, and you can be on your way. -ThanksOn Oct-06-12 at 11:12:23 PDT, seller added the following information: Please view answers to all other questions, down below the pictures.
