Up for auction is a very nice 1970 Honda SL 175. The bike shows a little under 2000 miles and appeared to be all original when I purchased it. When purchased the bike, it had been stored inside for several years. Since purchasing the bike, I have taken the bike to the frame for restoration. The frame has been re-painted the original grey color. The tank, fenders and side covers have been painted the original color with the original color accent stripes. There are no dents or scratches in the paint. The seat is original and in great shape. I have replaced the tires, tubes, chain, fork seals, grips, mirror, levers, rubber pegs and foam air filters. All the cables have been replaced with new correct grey cables. In order to get the correct grey colored cables, they were custom ordered from Motion Pro. The carbs were re-built. New plugs were installed and the oil was changed. The entire exhaust was removed and painted using hi-temp paint. The skid plate was also painted. All the chrome, including the wheels, is good with no rust. All the lights, switches and wiring work correctly. Everyone who sees this bike says it bring back a lot of memories of their first bike way back when. It is a great bike that looks just like it did rolling out of the factory.
