I'm selling my 2003 S55 AMG that I've had for 7 months now. The mileage is low for the year and I have had no mechanical prolems with the car. It has front and back parking sensors and I have 2 keys. I'am very picky with cars so I wil tell you what you should want to fix and the range of the repair. I would do it myself but I don't plan on keeping the car. A few weeks ago the blower went - A brand new behr blower is available on ebay for $120. You will need a regulator also which can range from $40-100 dollars. Installation - $100. The trunk struts are bad. - They are available on ebay for $80 a piece. You need 2. I've changed them before myself so can you. Front brake pads need to be replaced. - $115 for the front set on ebay. Motor Mounts need to be replaced - An estimate from a local shop was $350 for parts and labor. The air lines for the suspension should be replaced as part of regular maintenance. The SRS light comes on with a visit workshop error. My guess is it's a sensor that needs to be replaced. Aside from whats listed above all other regular maintenance should be performed. Air filters/fuel filters/supercharger bearings/etc. I just had the car detailed also. - You're welcome. So basically you will need about $1000 to $1500 to fix these minor non-mechanical issues.
