When you do what you love for a living,you're a lucky,happy person.,,until its time to sell that thing you put all your heart & soul into.Every motorcycle i put together always ends up being "THE ONE"...the one i should keep,,my best one yet...i'd be stupid to sell it..on & on.So now its that selling time again,,and i love this bike,but i wont sell it for a song,so dont bother to ask,,unless you have crazy ,,stupid money,,the auction runs it course..reserve is set in line with what other bikes similar to this have sold for recently on ebay.I have %100positive feedback and have sold over 30 bikes on ebay over 10yrs.i want every one to be happy .motorcycles are supposed to be fun.. Frame is a 1970 front loop,with a beautiful flowing ,round rear section of my making.With a standard riding position and the wheelbaseof a stock triumph.Combined with an 18 inch rear wheel instead of the standard chopper-bobber 16 rear wheel..this bike rides like a stock1950's triumph.New tires on stock 60's wheels give it a familiar look and good fit.A replica 50's triumph gas tank finished in durable chromewith the iconic tank rack,,sealed with caswell tank sealer for long rust free service.,fitted with new petcocks,new stainless braided gas lines and original knee pads.a brand new amal single carb for easy starts and confidence inspiring idle..capped off with the trademarknew airfilter..The motor was taken from a 1971 that was rebuilt a few yrs ago , and covered 1900 trouble free miles until rear ending a car.and sacrificed for this bike,,,dont cry,,the frame was a crappy one that year,ugly that year,bent from impact,and the motor was so goodthat it deserved to be in a bike like this..new replica headlight and original tail light..new / old never used alloy fenders,held up by hand hammered,study fender braces.a new lycette seat,well sprung..Ignition is by joe hunt magneto,,kick and go..the battery and charging system are only for the lights,so no fear of a dead battery...new exhaust and clamps,,loud and nasty at speed,,but can still sneak home quietly in second gear. Great finish on entire bike,,with some small nicks and blems..a combination of original and new parts give it thatlook that this could be a real 50's bike. NOT FOR THE BEGINNER .new cables and rebuilt speedometer showing 39 miles its been ridden since assembly..brand new tires,all new hardware.Bronze motor mount plates i cast myself,and small polished brass accents look good with out being over done..
