We bought this Jetta 3 years ago from a dealer with one previous owner, so we are the second DRIVING owner.Since we have had this car we have done complete timing belt replacement, EGR and cooler, replaced duel mass flywheel with upadated flywheeloil changes every 5000 miles, DSG trans service, new tires, cabin fliters, fuel filters, air filters. Also replaced the AC compressor, alternator, battery(non VW).All parts and fluids used are all Genuine VW purchased from a VW dealer. This means it has the factory spec parts and all the fluids are factory specand this DOES make a difference on the life of the VW Most of these were done as preventive maintenance and not due to failures. I believe in keeping my vehicles in 100% mechanicaly sound and reliable. The car has never been wrecked and on a scale of 1 to 10 is a 9+. This has been one of the best cars we have ever owned and are only selling itbecause we bought a 2012 Passat TDI. We regularly get 30 mpg around town and between 40 to 45 mph on the highway driving at 80 mph. This car still has a lot of reliable life in it and the new owner will be extremely happy driving it.
