Vehicle Detail

This is a 1950 Chevy Pickup that has been in my family since the 70’s. I was planning on keeping it as a daily driver, but my wife refused to drive it without power steering. I’ve put 1,400 miles on it since the rebuild. I've got $6000 in parts in it not counting the initial value of the vehicle. So $6000 is the starting price. Modifications: Transplanted a 302 EFI Ford engine, AOD and 10 bolt rear with 3.73 gears into it. It is a very pleasant driver that get’s about 20mpg highway. EFI was converted from speed density to mass air with an RJM harness, some mustang parts (including the ECM) and a tweecer. The bed is not standard. That was made by my father in the late 70’s. Non standard parts: 1990 Ford Thunderbird AOD transmission (used) 1971 Chevy Nova 10 bolt 8.2” rear diff (used) 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis 5.0 engine (used) (Engine had 89k miles on it. Before installing the engine I gave it new rod and main bearings, timing chain and various gaskets.) 1970 Chevy Camaro brake rotors and calipers (new) 1969 Ford Mustang Radiator (new) Gearhead Enterprise vacuum boost brake pedal assembly /w master cylinder (new) 1971 Chevy Vega tail lights (used) 1995 Ford F150 Engine mounts (new) B&M Unimatic 80775 shifter (new) B&M 40496 AOD bracket kit (new) Elipse CD1200G radio (new) Procomp 16” radiator fan (new) Fiat X1/9 Hand brake assembly (used) 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis Accelerator cable (new) 1965 Cadillac Fleetwood vacuum reservoir (used) 1970 Mustang accelerator pedal (used) 1988 Ford Bronco 5.0 starter (used) 1970 Dodge d100 heater control valve (new) 1989 Mercury Grand Marqui upper radiator host ‘modified’ (new) Stainless flexible lower radiator hose (new) 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis Voltage Regulator (new) 1992 Ford Mustang A9P ECM (used) Tweecer (new) Dakota Digital DGS-1B Gear Shift Indicator (new) Dakota Digital GSS-2000 Gear Shift Sender (new) Trick Flow Inline EFI Fuel Pump (new) Holley “Red” fuel pump (used) Tuff Stuff 70amp Alternator (new) The above is not a comprehensive list of all parts or all work done. You should ask questions when you take a look at it. Pick-up: The vehicle is old enough that NY does not issue a title. Instead they issue transferable registrations. See http://www.dmv.ny.gov/proove.htm I will transfer the registration to you, but the DMV will not allow you to drive on that registration. If you don’t live too far away I can drive the vehicle to your location after payment is made, otherwise you will have to trailer it home. DMV forms: If you are from NY I will give you the transferred registration, a DTF-802, an MV-103 and a sales receipt. If you are not from NY, we will have to figure out what you need to transfer ownership. Location: The vehicle is located in Ossining, NY. It is available for viewing and test drive 5pm-8pm week nights. Weekends are also an option but we may have to work around activities that my wife has planned for me. Note: This vehicle is also listed locally. I will end the auction if it is sold locally. The photos do not represent the true color well. It is orange. Very close to 1970 Camaro "Hugger" orange
