This is a one owner, 67K mile garage kept collectible Benz. It was the fastest production car the year it was made- 340hp from a 5.4L AMG -built V8. And it still can get 22-24 MPG highway, 18-19 around town. It has been climate-control garaged all its life, and was barely used, mostly summer cruising. It is one of only 85 convertibles that was trimmed in the breathtaking "Designo Cashmere" color and trim package ( so the dealership told me). This cost about $7k extra. It is a gray metallic with reddish undertones- truly an eye catching, classic color scheme. The interior leather is a one of a kind Nappa Gray leather, and the dash is leather covered, there are leather trimmed floor mats (which are there, pristine, under the set of all weather mats) & steering wheel unique to this trim package. The CLK55 AMG Cabrio also features special two-piece multi lug wheels which were for this model, only. It needs nothing. Tires have about 85% tread life. One note: Some of the pixels for the temp and time are fading out. All services done, complete records available from day one. Cost $90K when new. It has every factory installed option except phone/navigation. It has optional dealer installed chrome headlight trim, too. The AMG treatment includes rebuilding of certain parts of the massive engine, and the engine was assembled by hand, by one person, special suspension, special brakes, custom exhaust and very highly detailed body trim. This is a rocket, with the solid construction and excellent design cues of the best of the CLK series. 2002 was the only year in which a CLK55 was offered in convertible form in this body series.The carfax shows a good history- but please note, the car hit a deer Christmas Eve 2004 at about 25mph, requiring replacement of the hood and bumper ( no glass repair or frame issues)- there was no other "vehicle impact."
