I am selling my Dodge Dakota. I have owned for ten years and it has been one very good dependable truck. It has never let me down. I would still be driving accept that I needed a larger truck to tow with and now I have one. So I have to let it go. I wanted to keep it around but just don't want to see it sit. It has a lot of miles on it but it still runs and drives good. the A/C and curise control still work and both power window along with the door locks all work. The four wheel drive has not been used much and still works. I also have a camper shell that goes with this truck that is painted the same color green as the truck. For those of you who know anything about this model of Dodge Dakota they have a history of the floor boards rotting out. I have just had new floors welded in this past spring. So that problem is gone. The truck is in rough shape but very dependable. I would not hesitate to go anywhere in this truck. I want everyone to know that I drive the truck here in Indianapolis around town using the interstate system. It does just fine on the highway. It gets around 20-23 mpg on the highway depending on how you drive it. I don't push it hard because it is an old truck but it can do the speed limits. It does not smoke but I do have to keep a close watch on the fuild levels because it does have some leaks. Other than that it is fine. Also, it does not shake or vibrate at higher speeds. Through the years that I have owned it I have tried to take good care of it. I have had one shop do most of the work. I can provide the number of that shop to the buyer for verification. Since owning the truck I have had the transmission rebuilt. The rear end rebuilt. The braking system has been all gone through and serviced on a regular basis. I have never had to do anything to the engine. It has never been opened up for anything. I have had to put a water pump on it and other things but nothing has been touched inside the engine. All this work was done by one shop.
