Vehicle Detail
Here is a very nice 1969 Chevelle. I bought this car last year down in Kingman AZ, from an elderly gentleman. I have owned many muscle cars and hotrods in the past and have even built two cars from the ground up that were features in two well recognized magazines. I know the difference between a proffessionally built car and a car that has been molested into looking like a nice car. I am a businessman that believes in honesty and I will answer any questions about this car to the best of my knowledge. With that said let me explain the story behind this car. This car was taken to Fesler Performance in Phoenix sometime between 2002 and 2005. The gentlman that owned it spent $35000 with Fesler and they did the following. Engine, Tranny, front and rear suspension, Interior as well as trunk. He then had Cardenal Car Stereo out of Phoenix install a sound system. Before Fesler finished the car this gentleman fell in love with one of the twin turbo chevelles they were building in house. He bought the twin turbo car and sold this car to an elderly gentleman in Kingman. Over the last 8 to 10 years this gentleman only put 1900 miles on the car mainly by his wife. The car was detuned to only build 4 lbs of boost and is very driveable. The motor is a 454 cubic inch 8.5 to 1 motor with edelbrock aluminum heads. It has a sullivan fuel injection system atop a Holley intake controlled by a fast fuel control system that can be tuned to any level you want. It dynoes just under 400 at the rear wheel. This motor would easily make 750 horse with about 8 to 9 lbs of boost. The Vortec blower is a 7 YSI which is the largest blower Vortech was making at the time and will easily build 14 PSI if you want it to. Like I said this car was built and set up to make big power by Fesler Performance and if you don't know who they are go to their website. At the time of the build they were still using the 700R4 trannies to obtain overdrive, I personally don't like these transmissions but this one was built to the hilt and handles the car very well in its current state of tuning. Here is a list of the features-- Following list performed by Fesler Performance Phoenix AZ Dynamat throughout entire car Suede leather headliner and A pillars Procar seats by Scat 3'' SFI lap belts Custom Autometer gauges throughout Power windows and locks Custom center console Vintage air A/C Alarm system Remote Start Airbag system with gauge in glove compartment Fast fuel management system with batteries relocated to rear 454 cubic inch Big Block Edelbrock Heads 8.5 to 1 blower motor Sullivan Fuel injection Metco Motorsports Billet adjustable rear trailing arms Probuilt 12 bolt Posi with C-clip eliminators Baer disc brakes all the way around Stainless steel fuel cell Aeromotive fuel pump and filter Probuilt 700R4 transmission with B&M slapshifter Driveline loop Suspension rebuilt front to back Cardenal Car Stereo (best in the business) Like I said earlier I have a very good knowledge of cars and I can honestly say the work done by Fesler is impressive. Now for the things it needs to be perfect-- Interior is flawless except for door panels, they look good but edges are worn Needs paint, has a couple outy dents in right rear quarter and starting to show a little rust at the bottom of the molding on the same quarter also various chips on hood and door edges Really not bad for a ten year old paint job Moldings are loose in various places right front light bezel , SS emblem, and Chevelle emblem on trunk Steering gear leaks and has a little play( why they rebuilt the suspension and didn't put in steering gear I don't know) Overall this has been a very enjoyable car for me and was meticulously done in most areas, it just needs finished! As it sits right now it drives great and hauls ass but it has the potential to be a monster with some pulleys and some tuning.
