For auction is a 1990 Ford F-150 SuperCab with 8-foot bed. Runs but will not drive due to transmission issues and will need to be towed home. This truck is on its second engine and the odometer has rolled over at least once. It has dual tanks with working pumps. New parts include waterpump, front wheel bearings, fuel pump relay, and battery. Has a 5,000 lb hitch welded to the frame. The body and interior are in great shape for the age, the worst spots are above the wheels on the bed. The hood and passenger fender will need repainted to match the rest of the truck (replaced due to small fender bender). The camper top will need refinishing and new rear plexiglass. The drivers side window will need a new switch or motor. The transmission (AOD 4-speed) will not shift into reverse and three of the forward gears. I inspected the cables and valvebody on the transmission and everything looked in order. The transmission pan had the usual fine metal sludge around the magnet but everything else was as clean as it should be, no debris anywhere. I suspect the transmission will need a new core or replaced all together. This was my last project of the season, but I won't be able to finish it due to a recent career move. This truck would be great for parts or to fix up and drive.
